We are excited to share that our student t-shirts, generously sponsored by our PTO, have arrived just in time for our trip to the Molasses Festival this Friday!
To help ensure every student has their shirt to wear on field trip day, we will be keeping the shirts at school until Friday morning. We know how busy those mornings can be, and we're hoping to avoid any "Oops, we forgot it at home!" moments.

Every purchase helps support our school and encourages a love of reading in our students.
We love celebrating our students and welcome birthday treats and other special recognitions! As a reminder, to remain in compliance with state regulations, any food items shared with students during the school day must be free of artificial food dyes and store bought/made.

📣 Reminder for Pleasant Hill Students & Families! 📣
We are excited for our upcoming trip to the Arnoldsburg Molasses Festivalon Friday, 9/25/26. where all Pleasant Hill students will enjoy a day filled with fun activities, learning, and community celebration!
✅ If you have not already returned your permission form, please do so as soon as possible.
⚠️ Important Correction: There is a typo on the form regarding festival pick-up time. If you choose to pick your child up at the festival, student pick-up will be at 1:00 PM at the park.
📍 Parents/guardians picking up students should find Ms. Ballengee on the porch of the park building to sign their child out.
For safety and to ensure all students can fully participate in the field trip experience, students must remain with their class until they are officially signed out by a parent or guardian at 1:00pm.
👟🌦️ Please make sure your child wears weather-appropriate clothing and shoes. At this time, the ground is expected to be wet, so comfortable shoes suitable for muddy or damp conditions are recommended.

At Pleasant Hill, we LOVE when our students show up! ❤️ Attendance is one of the leading factors in student success, and we want to celebrate those students who make being present a priority each day.
Every Monday we will place the names of all students who had perfect attendance during the previous week onto a random prize wheel. We will spin the wheel and select one winner from each grade level to earn a spot in the “Eagles Nest” for outstanding attendance that week! 🦅✨
