A big Pleasant Hill Eagle Thank You to the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department, Trooper Stepp, Mrs. Barr and SSO Hunt for assisting in our Evacuation Drill this afternoon. Our students and staff were in good hands as they practice this important safety drill.

📚✏️Important message from Nurse Autumn to new students and families at Calhoun County Schools!✏️📚
☺️And reminders for students returning to school that have current medication or diet orders on file, you must have NEW orders for the new school year of 2026-2027☺️
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please remember these important health reminders:
💊 Medications at School:
If your child needs medication during the school day (including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, inhalers, EpiPens, creams, ointments), we must have a completed Medication Order for Calhoun County Schools Form signed by:
✔️ the prescribing provider
✔️ the parent/guardian
Please note: All medications must be supplied by the parent/guardian (including OTC medications) and dropped off at the school by a parent/guardian. Students are not permitted to transport medications of any kind on the bus or to school unsupervised.
🥗 Special Dietary Needs / Allergies:
If your child has food allergies or special dietary needs, please submit a completed Special Dietary Needs Medical Statement Form signed by:
✔️ a healthcare provider
✔️ the parent/guardian
Having these forms completed before school starts helps us provide the safest care possible for your child. Students who require emergency medications (including but not limited to inhalers, EpiPens, and emergency seizure medications) must have orders and medications dropped off at the nurse's office before the first day of school. Students who do not have appropriate medical documentation and medications will not be able to attend school until these are provided to the school nurse.
Our goal is to help keep your children healthy, safe, and ready to learn every day. 💙
If you need forms or have any questions, please reach out — I’m here to help! Looking forward to a wonderful upcoming school year! 🍎🩺
