As the world around us shares the #SolarEclipse today, we hope you'll share something meaningful with a friend or colleague. It takes courage to be vulnerable; we might not be all the same, but we're in this world together. #LetYourLightShine and don't ever block someone else's. This is your #Monday reminder - #YouMatter. Having a meaningful conversation about things you canNOT see, can be a #CHANGEMAKER. #MotivationMONDAY #MondayMotivation #MentalHealthMONDAY #youmatterimatter #CCMHS #ChangeMakers #helpHOPElive #TotalEclipseOfTheHeart #MeaningfulMessages #KeepersOfLife

Today we’re celebrating #internationalSCRIBBLEday & we hope you’ll take the time to think about the kind of mark YOU’re leaving on the world around you. We don’t mean that literally of course, but the goodness you bring to others - just by being you. #ScribbleDay really is a thing! This day emphasizes the power of IMPERFECTION & allows us to be creative with no boundaries, without having to worry about being perfect. (Did you know #ArtTherapy often includes spontaneous scribbling? It allows us to not have to over-think our difficult experiences.) Scribbling and doodling is actually good for us, it helps to calm the part of the brain that controls anxiety & stress – that makes it a #CHANGEMAKER! We hope you’ll join us in scribbling today… even though the mark of excellence is the best ink for what we what to leave the world with, there are no rules when it comes to how YOU scribble. So - pick up a pen or pencil, make a scribble, give it a HAPPY face & share it on YOUR social media today. It's #WellnessWednesday – take care of yourself & be kind to others. #CHANGEMAKERS #ChangeMakerChampions #youmatterimatter #helpHOPElive #CCMHS #LeaveYourMark #PositiveImpact

We know REAL Heroes don't wear capes, but if you had a Hero cape to wear today, what would yours say about you? What kind of goodness or greatness do YOU represent? #BeTheChange you wish to see in the world! The world needs all of us to be #ChangeMakers. Feel free to share below a time when someone was a HERO to you and impacted your life personally, or give a shoutout in the comments to the many Heroes of our community. #ChangeMaker #REALHEROES #youmatterimatter #KeepersOfLife #helpHOPElive #CCMHS #TogethernessTuesday #TuesdayTeamwork #Tuesday #EverydayHeroes

#BELIEVEinYOURSELF – words we hear all our lives, yet often we fill our own heads with negative talk and self-doubt. (No more of that!) The best way to unlock your full potential is to begin by having the courage to believe in you. Positive change takes hard work and being intentional in your actions… it doesn’t come from luck. The choices we make daily determine our future. Dedicate some time and effort to being your best you, believing in you and making yourself a priority. You’re worth it! #CHANGEMAKERS #ChangeMaker #BEYOU #youmatterimatter #KeepersOfLife #helpHOPElive #CCMHS

5th Graders are knocking out Measurement and Data with Punch! Our students are studying Measurement and Data and are learning to convert from one unit of measurement to another. Students are working with both customary and metric units that measure liquid capacity, length/distance, and mass/weight. Today, all three groups got together for a whole group activity. They measured their ingredients by using cups, pints, quarts, liters, and gallons. Their end product was cup after cup of delicious and frothy punch!

🌞 Attention Parents and Students! 🌞 Exciting News! 🎉 On April 8, 2024, we have a remarkable astronomical event happening - a SOLAR ECLIPSE! 🌘✨ While this celestial spectacle is set to grace the skies during our out-of-school day, we encourage all our students and families to seize this opportunity to witness this rare occurrence safely. Here are a few tips to make the most of this event: 1. Safety First: Remember to never look directly at the sun without proper eye protection. Eclipse glasses are a must! 2. Get Prepared: Plan ahead! Gather your eclipse glasses, or make a pinhole projector to safely observe the eclipse. 3. Explore and Learn: Take this chance to delve into the science behind solar eclipses. It's a fantastic learning opportunity for curious minds! 4. Share the Experience: Whether it's with friends, family, or fellow enthusiasts, experiencing the eclipse together can make it even more memorable. Although we won't be together in the classroom, we hope you all enjoy this awe-inspiring event and make unforgettable memories under the cosmic show. Remember to share your eclipse experiences with us when we return!
