Good evening, Due to a main water break Arnoldsburg Elementary School will not have school on Wednesday, September 14. Teachers and aides will report to Calhoun Middle High School. Cooks and custodians will report to the board office. We will update as soon as we have more information.

Good Evening , This year we are giving students at CCMHS the option to use a school issued backpack, or bring their own backpack, for transporting the laptop between home and school. If students choose to bring their own backpack, it must have a padded laptop sleeve or pocket to help keep the device safe during transport. Students must bring the bookbag with the padded laptop pocket/sleeve to school the 1st day to receive their devices, or a school backpack will be issued to them. American Connectivity Program (ACP) The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The ACP benefit is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program? One of the camps is going to give High School students the opportunity to learn how to work with Artificial Intelligence and Web Design. While Middle School students learn how to create Mobile Applications. Students will be working with industry experts. Device Collection for 5th - 11th grade continues tomorrow. If you have not yet turned in your bookbag, device, and charger, please plan to do this tomorrow, May 19th. Any virtual students that have a school issued laptop will need to bring those tomorrow May 19th and the 20th. The device and charger must be placed in the school issued bookbag along with any other technology on loan from the school. Parents and students will be monetarily responsible for any missing, not returned items, and or damaged items. Replacement charges for a computer are $600, a charger is $50, and a bookbag is $65.
